Cruise around Vancouver Island with personality in Bullitt the Safari van. Vibes are good in this adventure wagon, and it has everything you need to enjoy a self guided tour of the islands! A custom bed platform with plentiful storage underneath and in the rooftop box, plush pillows and mattress, clean bedding, and string lights in the roof make for a cozy vibe. Sleeps two very comfortably - it is a fresh professional build and is simple yet delivers what you need. The Safari vans have a bit of a cult following among auto enthusiasts - they are comfortable, reliable, robust, and have a sweet Tofino surfer vibe.It is kitted out with
-pots and pans
-Utensils
-cutting board and kitchen implements
-2 lanterns
-2 burner propane stove with 1 complimentary bottle
-20L fresh water tank
-cooler that keeps food fresh and cold for between 24 and 48 hours on one load of ice depending on weather
-6’ folding kitchen table and chairs
-towels and facecloths
Additionally for your safety and peace of mind there is a fire extinguisher mounted under the bed, and an emergency kit consisting of an air pump, first aid kit, flat tire fix spray, tire pressure gauge, jumper cables, and a rain poncho. With all the gear in the van there is still plenty of room for your bags underneath the platform, and the rooftop box is empty and at your disposal. The van is located in Victoria. Airport pickup and drop off is possible. Travel off of asphalt is not permitted and could result in loss of damage deposit.RecommendationsTravelling through Sooke and visiting the west coast beaches before taking the inland route and back down to Victoria is a great route. There is plenty to see. Tofino is a great destination. Saltspring Island is well worth a visit. Other things to notePlease return the van with a full tank of gas as it was given to you, please clean your dishes and cookware after use, and use the parking brake when parked on an incline.

This van was unreal, it was the perfect size for 2 of us and had pretty much everything we needed! There was heaps of space under the bed for storage of our bags, and the front seats were super spacious. The bed was comfy and the sheets and everything were clean. The cooktop provided and the pans worked amazing, we never had an issue with it and could boil water for coffee so quick. The van itself drove super easy and was great on fuel! We had a flat battery problem but John responded to us so quickly and we had it resolved in under an hour. Which with a new battery shouldn’t be a problem again for anyone else! John was a legend to communicate with and made the whole process really easy, would 100% recommend renting through him. He was super friendly and had great recommendations for us on pickup! Overall we had an amazing trip and felt so lucky getting this van!
