We had an absolutely fantastic trip! The van was spotless, completely mechanically sound, and surprisingly easy to drive. The interior is beautifully designed, incredibly cozy, and thoughtfully set up with everything needed for a great adventure. Kaitlyn was a wonderful host with excellent communication from start to finish. A perfect 5-star experience across the board!

Kaitlyn and Justin were super hosts and should be very proud of their converted van. The van was equipped with everything you could ever need for an off grid adventure along with some home comforts such as ambient lighting and games etc. The small engine meant the van was super economical on fuel and very easy to drive, it felt very safe and reliable. CarPlay was a helpful addition allowing us to connect to our music and maps. Power was provided which was more than ample to charge multiple devices overnight. Sleeping was a tad tight widthways for us but plenty long enough, probably less of an issue on a shorter trip. All in all we had an amazing adventure driving Vanessa for 13 days and wouldn’t hesitate to hire again!

Best little camper! Got everything you could possibly need on the road and it’s easy to set up. The little faucet comes very handy and uses minimal water. The car drives really well and has good fuel consumption. Also has a couple of bike mounts I never used but I wish I did!

We had an amazing time exploring Vancouver Island with VANessa! The van was comfortable, thoughtfully set up, and had everything we needed for a smooth trip. We especially appreciated the rooftop tent, roof storage, and fully equipped kitchen, which made rainy days and cooking on the road so much easier. Kaitlyn was wonderful to deal with, flexible with check-in and drop-off, and her local recommendations helped us discover some great spots. We’d happily recommend VANessa to anyone planning a Vancouver Island adventure!

Kaitlyn loves climbing, cats, and a really good cup of coffee. Justin is all about mountain biking, surfing, and peanut butter. Together, we’re happiest outside, so building camper vans just made sense. “Vanessa” is our second build, a small but incredibly versatile, cozy home on wheels designed for adventure. She’s easy to drive, fuel efficient, and thoughtfully set up to make the most of every trip. Whether you’re chasing waves, trails, or just a quiet campsite. Perfect for weekend getaways or longer road trips (we’ve gone as far North as the Yukon), Vanessa is compact without feeling cramped, and cute without sacrificing function. We built her with the same care we use on our own trips, so you’ll have everything you need to get out there and enjoy it.
