Meet your home base for exploring the West. Some trips are about the destination. The best ones are about having the freedom to stop wherever the view makes you say, "We have to pull over!"That's what we love most about traveling in our professionally-built custom camper van.One minute you're grabbing coffee, the next you're pulled over beside an alpine lake eating lunch with a million-dollar view. By evening, you're settling into camp beneath a sky full of stars, already planning tomorrow's adventure. The best memories usually aren't the ones you planned. They're the scenic detours, the hidden overlooks, and the places you almost drove past.If that sounds like your kind of vacation, we think you'll feel right at home here.| Why We Built This Van |We've always loved camping. What we didn't love was spending the first hour of every trip unloading gear, wrestling with tent poles, inflating air mattresses, and trying to remember where we packed the spatula. By the time camp was finally set up, we were often too tired to enjoy the reason we'd driven there in the first place. So we worked with a professional van builder to custom design and create the camper van we wished we could rent. Not to replace camping, but to make it easier.Instead of spending your evenings setting up camp, you can spend them watching the sunset.Instead of packing up an entire campsite every morning, you can make coffee, close the doors, and head to your next adventure in minutes. You still get everything you love about camping: waking up surrounded by nature, sitting around a campfire, and spending your days exploring. You just get to do it with a comfortable bed, hot water, a simple kitchen, and a few conveniences that make coming back to camp something you actually look forward to.For us, it's the best of both worlds. It's still camping, just a little more comfortable.| Why Choose A Camper Van? |If you've never traveled in a camper van before, think of it as a different style of camping, not a smaller RV.The goal isn't to spend all day inside. The goal is to spend your days exploring incredible places and have a comfortable home base waiting for you when you come back.A camper van gives you the freedom to:• Set up camp in just a few minutes
• Drive scenic roads that larger RVs often avoid
• Fit into regular parking spaces at trailheads, grocery stores, restaurants, and national parks
• Unpack less when you're at camp and spend more time either relaxing or exploring
Yes, camper vans have less indoor living space than traditional RVs—but that's kind of the point! Instead of spending your vacation inside, you're out hiking, kayaking, biking, skiing, climbing, or simply sitting around the campfire while still having a comfortable place to come home to every evening.| Functional Seating + Cozy Sleeping |After a full day's adventure, there's nothing better than climbing into a comfortable bed.• Plush Full XL memory foam mattress (same width as a Full bed with the length of a Queen)
• Seating for 4 with seatbelts (the fold-down bench seat has built-in car seat anchors)
• Optional Cabbunk hammock sleeping system for up to 2 children
• Window covers throughout the van for complete privacy
• Magnetic bug screens on both the side and rear doors so you can enjoy fresh air without inviting every mosquito inside.
| Fully-Equipped Kitchen + Dining |Whether you're making breakfast before an early hike or dinner under the stars, you'll have everything you need.• 83L Refrigerator with freezer box
• Two-burner gas cooktop
• Hot & cold running water (available spring, summer, and fall)
• Swivel front seats (driver + passenger seats)
• Pedestal dining table for up to four (removes when not in use)
• Pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, mugs, cups, silverware, and basic kitchen essentials
| Simple Bathroom Setup |The goal wasn't to recreate your bathroom at home—it was to make camping easier. One of our favorite upgrades from tent camping is being able to rinse off after a dusty hike instead of climbing straight into bed.The folding Tetravan shower sets up in just a couple of minutes and gives you hot water right at camp (available spring through fall). Is it the same as your shower at home? Of course not. But after a long day outside, it feels pretty close. The van also includes a Laveo Dry Flush toilet. If you've never used one before, don't worry! It functions much like a traditional toilet, just without using water. With the push of a button, the waste is automatically sealed inside a fresh, odor-blocking liner after each use. That means there's no black water tank to deal with, and because each use is individually sealed, it does an excellent job at containing odors so the van doesn't get smelly!Camper vans are all about making smart use of space, and this one is no exception. The toilet stores neatly inside the van and is quick to set up whenever you need it. Best of all, there's no messy black tank to dump before heading home.Included with your trip:• 1 toilet cartridge for 2–3 day trips
• Additional cartridges included for longer reservations
• Extra cartridges available for purchase if needed
(Each cartridge provides approximately 15–20 flushes.)Quick-dry bath towels are also included with your reservation.| Off-Grid Capable + Fully Campsite-Ready |One of the biggest advantages of a camper van is how quickly camp comes together.• Built-in solar power for off-grid camping
• Shore power connection for campground hookups
• Two MaxxAir fans for excellent airflow and to cool the van when you're not driving
• Diesel heater for chilly mornings and cool evenings
| Driver-Friendly Vehicle Features + Gear-Ready Storage |Most guests are surprised by how quickly they feel comfortable behind the wheel.A Ford Transit drives much more like a large SUV than a traditional RV.Features include:• AWD
• Backup camera
• 360° camera
• Adaptive cruise control + lane assist/centering
• Apple CarPlay/Bluetooth
• Runs on regular gasoline (no diesel fuel required)
One of our favorite features is that it fits into a standard parking space, making grocery runs, coffee stops, and navigating city-driving quite easy.| Built for Solo Travelers/Two Friends and Couples. Ready for Small Families. |This van is perfect for solo travelers, two friends, or couples looking for a comfortable road trip, but it's also a great option for small families. The optional Cabbunk system creates two kid-sized bunks, making the van comfortable for families of three or four. (Available for an additional fee as an add-on).The fold-down bench includes car seat anchors, and there's plenty of storage for everyone's gear.Whether you're introducing your kids to camping or finally taking that bucket-list national park trip, this van is designed to elevate your trip.| Adventures are Better With Dogs |Some adventures just aren't complete without your four-legged best friend. We welcome up to two dogs. Please note:• Dogs must be added during booking ($25/day per dog)
• Dogs may not be left unattended inside the van
• Please follow all campground, state park, and national park pet regulations
• Excessive pet hair, cleaning, or damage may result in additional fees
(We're dog lovers too, we just want to leave the van as clean for the next guests as we'd want it ourselves.)| Is This Van Right for You? |This van is a great fit if you're looking for:✓ National park road trips✓ Weekend getaways✓ Couples adventures✓ Small family vacations✓ Comfortable camping without towing an RV✓ Off-grid camping✓ Scenic drives, mountain towns, and unforgettable sunrisesIt may not be the best fit if you're looking for the indoor living space of a large motorhome or plan to spend most of your vacation inside. Our goal wasn't to build the biggest camper van.It was to build one that lets you spend less time setting up camp and more time enjoying the places you've traveled to see.| Before You Hit the Road |If this is your first camper van trip, don't worry. We'll walk you through every feature before you leave, answer your questions, and make sure you're comfortable operating everything in the van. Most guests are road-trip ready in about 20–30 minutes. We built this van because we genuinely love camping, and we hope you'll love it as much as we do. Whether you're chasing sunsets, hiking new trails, or simply slowing down for a few days, we hope your trip is filled with great views, campfire conversations, and memories you'll be talking about long after you get home.Happy trails! What's included• Clean bedding + pillows for 2

I've rented 9 other vans from companies and individuals and this was the best experience yet. From the quick communication, to the van itself with how easy it was to drive, the layout, but mostly the thoughtful touches that Remmy and his wife thought of to make an easy and enjoyable experience for their renters. Pack your bag, grab some groceries and because it's so well stocked, you're good to go. If I could rate them higher I would. Two big thumbs up! A few photos for inspiration:

Remmy and Kimberly's camper van was a perfect rental for our trip to Grand Teton NP and Yellowstone NP. It drove smoothly and easily and was a comfortable ride. It is set up with every detail to create a great camping experience. The bed was comfy and cozy, The dishes, utensils, towels, and other supplies were plenty and brand new. The van and all the supplies are in excellent shape. The whole set up is very high quality. They were great hosts - easy to communicate with and highly responsive. We had no concerns or issues on our trip, but if we had it was clear that they would have taken care of it. We would definitely rent their camper van again for future trips.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

Do I need experience driving a camper van?

A.

Nope! It drives very similar to a regular vehicle and fits in a standard parking spot, so most drivers feel comfortable quickly. That said, since the van is taller, be mindful of height clearances (drive-thrus, parking garages, low branches), and note that blind spots are a bit larger than a typical car. We’ve made it easy with a backup camera and 360° camera—just take turns a little wider, give yourself extra stopping distance, and you’ll be good to go.

Q.

Does it have electricity and hookups?

A.

Yes! You can plug into campground power using the included shore power cord. If you're camping without a shore power connection, the van’s solar panels will provide electricity for your off-grid adventure—powering your lights, fridge, and other essentials so you can stay comfortable wherever you go. We also provide a clean water hose for campground water hookups. There is no sewage hookup, as the van does not have a blackwater system.

Q.

Is this good for families?

A.

This is the perfect van for families of 3–4! The van seats 4 comfortably, and the fold-down bench seat includes car seat anchors. It also features a Full XL bed that sleeps 2. You can rent our Cubbunk system to add sleeping space for up to 2 kids. Each bunk has its own 155 lb weight limit (not combined), so each child can weigh up to 155 lbs.

Q.

How spacious is the van? What should I expect inside?

A.

The van is cozy and compact! It includes everything you need to be comfortable, while still encouraging you to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. We might be biased, but we think it’s the best of both worlds! If you’re looking for lots of indoor space or don’t enjoy tight quarters, a larger RV may be a better fit. Please note the mattress is a Full XL which is the width of a standard size full mattress but is the length of a queen mattress.
