Review summary

Responsive, resolves reported issues
Described as nice and responsive. Communicated issues upon pickup and resolved the previously reported water contamination problem.
Spacious, requires full hookups
Comfortably sleeps 6-10, is well-stocked, and controls are straightforward. Lacks backup battery and LP gas, necessitating full hookups.

5.0We had a very comfortable and enjoyable time in Melinda's RV. It was our first time using an RV of this kind - everything was straight forward to use. If we're heading to anywhere in Washington again, we'd love to hire Melinda's RV again, thank you!

5.0This is our family’s 2nd time renting Melinda’s RV. It’s a great amount of space for 2 adults and 2 teens. We love that everything is easy to operate from the central control panel inside. The previous review about the water issue has been resolved. The RV is well stocked (towels, blankets, pillows, board games, etc) and ready for your trip! Just load your groceries and get on the road.

1.0Upon arrival for pickup, the host informed us that the freshwater tank had been vandalized with gasoline. She noted that she had flushed the system with bleach, but a strong petroleum smell remained. As first-time RV renters given no advance warning, we did not immediately realize the full extent of the danger. Upon further research during our drive, we learned that petroleum permeates PEX plumbing/rubber seals, and mixing bleach with gasoline residues creates volatile, toxic chemical vapors. Because the contaminated lines feed the entire plumbing system, the water was completely unsafe for drinking, cooking, etc, even when hooked up to city water at our campsite. Future renters should explicitly confirm with the host whether the entire freshwater system—including the tank, PEX lines, water heater, water pump, and fixtures—has been completely removed and replaced. Rinsing a gasoline-contaminated system with bleach does not render it safe or potable. While we made the best of our stay by treating the RV as a "dry camp" and relying entirely on campground facilities, the host refused to offer any meaningful refund or acknowledge the severity of renting an RV with compromised water.

3.0The RV ultimately met our needs but was challenging because there wasn't a backup battery and the LP gas didn't work. So it is not ideal unless you have full hookups.
