Only drivers approved through Outdoorsy may operate the van. Please drive conservatively and allow extra stopping distance, as camper vans are larger and heavier than standard vehicles.
Road Restrictions
Avy is designed for adventure, not off-roading. Travel is permitted on paved roads and well-maintained gravel roads only.

Can I leave my car on your property while renting your van?

Yes, absolutely! I have a large lot, so you can absolutely leave your car here while you head off to your adventure. I do not have covered parking.

How many seatbelts does Avy have?
A.
While Avy can accommodate three guests for sleeping, she only has two seatbelts - the driver and passenger seats. The dinette has two large built-in seats that are very comfortable and safe, but they do not have seatbelts. Please use your discretion when traveling with more than two people.

What is it like to drive Avy?
A.
Avy is very comfortable to drive! However, it is not like your standard car, especially when driving around corners. Plan to slow down much sooner before heading into a curve, and go around those curves slower than the posted speed limit. Also plan for more time to slow down and stop.

Do I need to fill the gas tank before returning the van?
A.
Yes. The van will have a full tank when you pick it up, so please completely fill the tank within a 10 mile radius from its pickup location.
